About

Hello there! I’m a lover of words and a seeker of knowledge. I take joy in imparting knowledge to others who are genuinely interested in improving themselves and their lives and the lives of others.  I hope that my love for the written word will nourish the tired mind and soul. The contagious effect of information is seen as it ripples out to others who bother to capture it. The result is self-fulfillment as the soul is enriched.

Having a  passion in writing explains why I take a deep interest in blogging. Hence, the birth of my blog, ‘The Information Magazine’. Since my interests are varied, my topics reflect a wide range of subjects that will interest a wide range of readers.  So, I have categorised my blog into various topics of interest namely ‘Beauty and Well-Being’;  ‘Personal Finance and Budgeting’; ‘Education, Language and Writing’;  ‘Gastronomy’ and ‘Home, Wardrobe and Shopping’.

This blog is for everyone who is interested in gathering tips on topics pertaining to personal finance, well-being and personal grooming,  gastronomy, education and household chores. I tend to focus largely on personal finance and budgeting to help those who are struggling with their finances and credit card debt as this is a critical area that needs  to be remedied for anyone to be financially sound and in control of his or her own life. With that in mind, I will try to tweak the categories  in my posts towards the direction of practical money-savvy ideas for budget conscious readers anywhere in the world.

On a personal note, I’m a chocolate and coffee addict. Has to be dark Belgian chocolate for its positive effects and Coffee Mocha with lightly roasted Arabica beans.  Life won’t be complete without these pick-me-ups. Of course, the coffee has to come from the coffee-maker sitting in the kitchen. I do believe in buying $10 worth of quality Arabica freeze- dried coffee that makes 30 cups a month compared to spending $4 on gourmet coffee daily. Wow, that will be $120 gone to waste in just one month. So you see, it’s the little things that can add up and burn your pocket in the long-run.

It is my pleasure to share tips and advice and impart what I already know to readers out there.  I will be more than happy to learn from you as well based on your suggestions and comments that I hope you take time to post.

Here’s wishing you an enriching journey of the mind and soul……………….

Yours truely,

Your Info Geek
