Method

1. In a large bowl, mix the miced beef together with egg, garlic, chilli and onions.

2. Mix until the ingredients are well-blended.

3. Just before cooking, mix the spring onions and basil to the mixture.  Add ground black pepper and mix well.

4. Heat some olive oil in a non-stick frying pan.

5. Divide the mixture into 4 parts and roll each mixture into a ball before flattening it to form a patty.

6. Place the patties in the frying pan and turn them once only, cooking for about 5-6 minutes each side.

7. Cool the patties and wrap each one in separate plastic/paper to be stored in the fridge if eaten within 7 days.

8. When heated, serve with burger buns and salad. For variation, you can top it up with sliced cheese, mustard, mayonnaise or tomato ketchup/chilli sauce.

Yum. There you are! Tasty, spicy beef burgers that you can make by simply heating the patties up. There is alot of time and money saved as opposed to getting take-away or ordering fast food.
